Angela Jimenez's work is truly shocking. The first time I saw one of her photos, it was in color and I was already in love, and then I saw her black and white work and I was completely taken aback. The way in which she documents the people around her is unlike any other photographer. Her photos appear as if they are stills from films and have a composition that make you feel as if the entire scenario was staged, but then you realize they weren't. Along with that, the quality of light within all of her work is really remarkable. Either she has gotten really lucky, or this woman knows her lighting. I definitely plan to look back at her work, not only for black and white inspiration, but to look at her color work.
