Laura Aguilar's work is some of the most thought-provoking work on this list of artists. Her photos of the female body within nature create feelings of uneasiness and discomfort in the best way. These photos make you want to change the way you view the world. Her photos of women in the queer community are also very captivating. All of her work really just makes you have to sit still and really look at them. I really admire her ability to photograph such different things and ideas with precision and poise. I definitely plan to continue viewing her work and pulling inspiration from every series of hers.
