The reason I love Jill Posener is probably pretty obvious - she is a lesbian photographer that has a focus in documenting women's rights and the touch of feminists in society. A lot of her work is centered around the idea of capturing the mark women have left around the city she lived in. From feminist "propaganda" spray painted on bridges, to women making out topless on a bridge, her work brings forth so many empowering ideas. She makes me want to do a series on feminists here in Savannah. Her work has just really caught my attention in every way and has inspired me to keep my eyes peeled for moments that may otherwise be overlooked.
