IO-Tilley Wright's work caught my eye because it makes me feel as if I am IN the photo itself. Nearly every one of her photos pulls you into a situation in which you cannot escape. Not only in her color photos, but also in her black and white photos, you feel as if you were there when the moment was captured. I really think that that is a goal all documentary photographers have. To create a moment in which the viewer is a part of. Since I have recently changed my concentration to documentary photography, I know I will be looking at Wright's work for the rest of my career for inspiration.
