I actually became familiar with Donna Garcia's work when she asked me to be a part of a group exhibition in Atlanta. She is also a SCAD grad and now owns a gallery in Atlanta. After speaking with her, I started looking into her work and really fell in love. Her self portraiture is absolutely stunning and the portraits with her hair hanging or laying are my favorite. Along with these, her photos that incorporate architecture and objects also really inspire me. I am excited to look at her work even more and get inspired in even more ways.
